Formalize Partnership Agreements

When the time is right, develop a formal partnership agreement. While this may sound too formal in what appears to be an informal region, these partnerships often experience both a natural synergy and healthy, creative tension. Truly collaborative planning and problem-solving is key, and developing written agreements will bring many issues to the forefront to be dealt with at the beginning of the relationship.

Coming together and developing a partnership agreement that outlines what you want to achieve and how you want to do it is an important first step. Always have good data sharing agreements, memorializing what you’re going to share in a way that is acceptable to both parties.
